THE POD 1

The Pod1 is a modern and inviting studio that has all the features needed for independent living. Mixed building materials and simple geometry create a cabin that looks sophisticated enough for any back yard. The interior layout is basic and efficient, featuring an open plan living area with a kitchen at one end and a separate bathroom with laundry facility at the other.

Strategically-placed windows and a large stacker door provide plenty of natural light and cross-ventilation which are essential for a healthy home. A gently raked ceiling with square-set cornices plus timber of low-voc vinyl flooring and custom-designed cabinetry / built-in storage areas (including the kitchen) help create an elegant, modern feel.

For a budget solution the Pod1 can be built with a sandwich panel roof and industry-standard external wall cladding.
